HEALING IS IN YOUR MOUTH

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Proverbs 18:21

One of the ways God’s medicine is administered to your body is to keep God’s Word in your mouth. Rom. 10:8 “But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming” (NIV) We need to practice daily confessions and make it a culture to call things that be not as though they are (Rom. 4:17). We must never make the mistake of calling things the way they are.

Most times, our words make us sick without us even knowing it. We make statements like; Every time I eat that; it makes me sick… My back is just killing me…or some choose to say hunger is killing me rather than I am hungry. Your words are giving instructions to your body. Eventually your immune system will respond to your instructions and you will have what you have been saying.

God’s method is to call for positive things, even though they are not yet a reality in your body. Call them until they are manifested. Exercise your God given authority over your body. To exercise your authority over your body, God’s Word must be allowed to become part of you. Just as you would take medicine into your physical body to aid healing, so also, you must receive God’s Word concerning healing into your spirit to aid healing.

Death and life are in your tongue, choose ye therefore, what you will say!

Confession: I speak right words; I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I enjoy health and vitality; I am strengthened in the inner man!
