UNHINDERED

“preaching the kingdom of God and teaching things about the Lord Jesus Christ with all openness, unhindered.”
ACTS 28:31 (NASB)
Main Text: MAIN TEXT: ACTS 1:8

The word "unhindered" signifies freedom from restraint or obstruction, enabling a seamless flow of movement or action. This term aptly describes Apostle Paul’s ministry, particularly in Acts 28:30-31, where the Bible records that he preached and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ "with all confidence, no one forbidding him." Paul's ability to minister unhindered was not merely a result of favorable circumstances but a testament to his unwavering commitment to the gospel, even in the face of challenges and persecutions.

Throughout his ministry, Paul demonstrated an extraordinary resolve to preach the gospel, regardless of the obstacles he faced. His journey was marked by persecutions, imprisonments, and hardships, yet he maintained a singular focus on fulfilling the mission God had entrusted to him. One of the most profound examples of Paul’s resolve is found in Acts 20:22-24, where he declares:
"And now, behold, I go bound in the spirit unto Jerusalem, not knowing the things that shall befall me there: Save that the Holy Ghost witnesseth in every city, saying that bonds and afflictions abide me. But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God." Paul’s decision to go to Jerusalem, fully aware of the afflictions awaiting him, exemplifies his steadfast commitment to the gospel. He valued the call of God above his own comfort or safety, showcasing a faith that transcends fear and self-preservation.

To live a life of unhindered progress, we must embrace the mindset and discipline of Apostle Paul. Challenges and tough decisions are inevitable, but a steadfast commitment to God’s call, combined with wisdom, courage, and a focus on eternity, paves the way for a life of divine purpose and impact. Let us make the bold decision to prioritize God’s will above all else. As we do, we will witness His power and grace flowing unhindered in our lives, enabling us to fulfill our calling and bring glory to His name.

Confession:

I declare that in the year 2025, I prioritize the gospel and the kingdom of God above all else. I dedicate myself to the works of Jesus Christ—preaching, teaching, and healing. As I labor in His vineyard, I am open to the abundant blessings that come with serving Him. I am blessed and highly favored, walking in His purpose and grace. Hallelujah!
