REJOICE IN THE LORD!
“Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!”
Philippians 4:4 (AMP)
Main Text: Psalm 84:1-7
Most people want to experience joy and happiness and some people spend their entire life pursuing it. Joy is an emotional state of being or a feeling of elation, but many people miss the mark when searching exclusively for it. The world has an incomplete and impartial definition of joy. To learn the truth about joy we need to search the Word of God for it.
God wants us to be joyful at all times and for our joy to be independent of circumstances. Recall that Apostle Paul was in jail at the time He wrote this letter. Yet he didn’t allow his experiences dictate his mood or interfere with the joy of the Lord in his heart. He was so independent of circumstances that He could encourage the believers to rejoice in the Lard always!
Some Christians today aren’t even in prison yet they’re sad and wish their life turned out differently. The right attitude for every believer is to see challenges as a springboard for promotion. Never allow challenges steal your joy.
Confession; My life is a bundle of joy and happiness for the joy of the Lord is my strength. Irrespective of the circumstance, I remain cheerful with praises, glory to God! I rejoice in the Lord forevermore.
