IN THE DAYS OF YOUR STRENGHT 1

“Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth …but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.”
Ecclesiastes 11:9
Main Text:

Your current actions and lifestyles will receive the right judgement from people around you in due course. If you are acting rightly as touching the mandate of God for your life, you will not be condemned though maybe criticized by some, but if you have strayed away from the truth through compromise and seductions, you will not find it funny in the future except the Lord is merciful on you.

Have you ever known someone who is always late for everything? They are always in a rush just to catch up because they are always late.  At times, this kind of habit can be costly, they miss out on important things or information because of a late arrival.  It’s much better to be on time and start early, this is precisely the idea behind Ecclesiastes 12:1.

“Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;” Ecclesiastes 12:1.

Don’t waste your youthful seasons. Think about the love of God for you and put Him to remembrance in all you do. If you will not reckon with God now, you will end up shooting yourself on the foot. God cannot be made better. He’s God for evermore. You are the one that requires work. You’re the one in need of God’s perfection. You need His love to live correctly. If not for any other reason but the sake of life after now, you need to plan your destiny by taking heed to the words of God now that your strength has not started failing. Think wisely and secure for yourself a glorious future through total obedience to the word of God.

Prayer: Lord, grant me the enablement to serve you with all my strength.
