HIS GRACE – MY SUFFICIENCY
“But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.â€
2 Cor 12:9 (ESV)
Main Text:
When you run into an impossible situation, a situation you simply don’t have the strength for or the ability to handle, are you often tempted to simply give up and accept defeat? Please don’t give up! Instead of complaining scream at the top of your voice “Glory to God – His Grace is sufficient for me!” Because the Word of God says, “My power shows up best in weak people.” (TLB version)
The word translated power in this verse is “dunamis”, it means God’s miracle working power. Just ponder on that. When your physical strength fizzles out, God promises that His miraculous power will bring you through.
If you are facing crisis today, if you’re sick and medicine has failed you, if your finances have depleted, if your family is out of control or on the verge of a break up, if bad habits have you hopelessly bound, if you’ve done all you know to do, and still haven’t gotten results, begin to encourage yourself in the Lord, for when human strength fails, the power of God is made manifest! Glory to God! His Grace is your sufficiency!
Confession: The power of God is at work in me, I have boldness like a lion to face any situation, I cannot be defeated, I am a child of the King therefore I am royalty. His grace is my sufficiency! Hallelujah!
