CRISIS MANAGEMENT 2
‘‘... He said unto them, An enemy hath done this…â€
Matthew 13:28
Main Text:
You should also understand that although the devil has reasons for creating crises, God can use the same crises to work out something good in your life. Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose”. God can use the crises created by the devil to teach us patience and tolerance, increase our level of obedience and Christian maturity (Philippians 2:8; Hebrews 5:8), increase our level of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, increase our level of faith in and dependence on Him, teach us to run into Him for cover (Proverbs 18:10), etc.
You also have to understand that God is the only one who can help you to effectively manage a
crisis. II Kings 6:27 says, “The king replied, "If the Lord doesn't help you, where can I get help for you? From the threshing floor? From the winepress?” (NIRV). God never leaves His children to go through life by themselves. Even when He seems to be very far away from you, He is right by your side and is ready to see you through it all if only you allow Him. Do not expect your help to come from anyone else.
Learn not to panic when confronted with a crisis situation. Instead, stay calm and peaceful (Isaiah 30:15; Colossians 3:15). To be able to do this you must know the God you serve (Daniel 11:32). You have to know Him more through regular fellowship with the brethren (John 20:19), searching the scriptures on your own (John 5:39), and prayer (John 12:27-28). To stay calm you also need to believe that God is not only able but also willing to help you (Isaiah 41:10).
With the understanding that God is the only One that can handle your situation, hand it over to Him and leave Him to take care of it (Psalm 37:5). As God works on your case you must follow His instructions.
Prayer: I receive wisdom to go through my critical periods in life
