THE FATHER’S LOVE

Love is an endearing value a person gives you. God loves you means you are special and valuable to Him. This understanding of love will change your life forever. The anchor scripture we read expresses awe as to the manner in which God loves us and uses a key word “bestowed” this word connotes “lavish on, heap on, bequeath to”. In orders words the Apostle John was saying what manner of love has Abba lavished on us. God loves us without limits and it’s imperative that we know without a shadow of doubt that God loves us.

Take time out to meditate on the love of God. Think about His grace, kindness and the fact that if you were the only one on earth, the Lord Jesus would still have given His life for you. That’s how valuable you are to God. Take time to think on this fact – you are valuable to God. God loves you just the way you are.

In addition, God doesn’t only love you just as you are, He loves you just as much as He loves Jesus. A lot of believers think this is far-fetched, but it’s actually scriptures, God loves you just as much as He loves Jesus. John 17:23 (TLB) “I in them and you in me, all being perfected into one-so that the world will know you sent me and will understand that you love them as much as you love me.” You didn’t have to work your way to earn His love, but by the grace of God, He chose to love you.

Prayer: I thank you Father for your love and grace upon my life. Thank you for making me the object of your affection, the apple of your eyes, your righteous one, my life is the expression of your praise now and forever in Jesus name. Amen.
