YOUR WORDS ARE VALUABLE TO GOD

"But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment."
Matthew 12:36 (KJV)
Main Text:

Words are singularly the most powerful force available to humanity. We can choose to use this force constructively with words of encouragement, or destructively using words of despair. Words have energy and power with the ability to help, to heal, to hinder, to hurt, to harm, to humiliate and to humble. God created the world by words, man was created in His likeness, this same ability is in us therefore, we must be careful what and how we speak. Proverbs 6:2 "Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth."

Our words are important to God, in the anchor scripture, we see that there's a day of judgment for every word we speak. I personally believe that verse wasn't referring to the judgment that occurs after death, however, the day the word comes into manifestation. Joshua spoke a word and 530 years later it came into reality. (Joshua 6:26 & 1 Kings 16:34). What are idle words? These are words that do not agree with the Word of God. Words are spirits, the Spirit of a person is found in his words, therefore we should be careful how we speak, and the Angels of God are on standby to bring the word we speak into realism. Hebrews 1:14: "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?"

It is expected of the New Testament believer to walk this earth like God would. God spoke the world into reality, He didn't just rely on hard work, he relied on the power of words. Our words are extremely important to God. We have been redeemed Kings and Priests unto our God, therefore, we must use this authority in its right way. Job 6:25 "How forcible are right words".  Words have real power, in it contains the power to destroy or build up Proverbs 12:6 "The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them".  Our words are valuable to God.

Confession; The Holy Spirit lives within me, therefore I speak right words, for poverty Jesus gave me prosperity, for lack and want He gave me abundance, I am blessed of the Lord.

Prayer; May I not be condemned by the words of my mouth
