DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE HARVEST?
“And this shall be a sign unto thee, Ye shall eat this year such as groweth of itself; and the second year that which springeth of the same: and in the third year sow ye, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit thereof.â€
Isaiah 37:30
Main Text:
You can’t run away from the seasons of life. The times of life will surely manifest to their full capacity. Whether you agree or not, you can’t but witness sowing and harvest seasons. It’s therefore important that you begin to advise yourself about the times and seasons of your life. Don’t get carried away, results will prove your degree and depth of labour and commitment to the course of life. The principle of Sowing and Reaping has both a positive and a negative aspect. Negatively speaking, if we sow to satisfy our sinful desires, we will reap a life of heartache and sorrow. Positively speaking, if we sow to please the Holy Spirit, we will reap a life of blessings and eventually, everlasting life.
If you have been playing around and deceiving yourself, you will have the whole harvest season to regret. You can’t mock God, whatsoever a man soweth so shall he reap! “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” (Galatians 6:7).
Beloved, what kind of harvest are you expecting? Is it good or bad? If you have laboured enough to enter His rest you are sure God will work things out in your favour. But consider your ways and what you have been using your youthful seasons to do. If you fail to do it right at this time, you may find it difficult to get it right at harvest. Isaiah 37:30.
The outcome of your harvest is in your hands! What seeds are you sowing all over the place? Good or bad, wait for the results. If you are not sowing correct words into your destiny, you will end up being corrupted in destiny.
Prayer: O Lord, bless my seed to yield in abundance
