THE BELIEVERS AUTHORITY 2

God has given you all the authority you need to be able to stand against the devil and his works. He has also provided you with armor and spiritual weapons for your warfare against Satan. In his letter to the Ephesians, the Apostle Paul describes these items and defines how to use them. He writes, “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:10-11, 13).

Authority is delegated power. In the Greek, authority means Exousia. It means “the power of one whose will and commands must be obeyed by others.” Jesus said I have given you power, therefore Satan and his cohorts don’t have dominion over us. We have been given the power to bind on the earth what we don’t want and loose in the heavens what we desire (Matt 18:18).

You are not a victim. You are Satan’s superior officer; one designed to rule the earth for the glory of God. You are not subject to disease, and the afflictions of life. You are supposed to put the devil on the run. Jesus told us to cast out devils. You need to have this dominion mentality for therein lies your dominance on the earth.

Confession: I am the righteousness of God in Christ, therefore, I declare, I am blessed and highly favored, the lines are falling unto me in pleasant places. My finance is blessed; Satan get your hands off God’s property. I walk in divine health.
