ARE YOU LIVING READY? 1
“Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them. â€
Luke 12:37

One of the benefits of being a member of the Boy Scouts of Nigeria is the leadership experiences, the trainings, the drills and the need to endure hardship and stay strong in readiness for hard times which may lie ahead. Their watchword is just on point: “Be Prepared!” No committed member will forget in a hurry the experience.
As believers in Christ, it is expedient for us to be prepared for any assignment and when we failed to make the required preparations, it showed in our delivery. True or false? For the beloved in Christ, we either set or not ready for the second coming of Christ. What is your preparation level?
If there’s any encouragement or reminder we need, it’s concerning our home in heaven. Consider the word of Christ, ponder on His counsel and give a thought to your state of readiness for your home above. You can’t be sure when He’s going to ask you to come home! It may be now or later! Therefore, you need to prepare to meet your Lord. Like a thief in the night, He will come to take the saints triumphant. Scholars, soothsayers and many fake pastors under the sun have theories about when Jesus will return but NOONE can tell the time and day.
Paul’s final instructions to the church were not concerning when or how this will happen, he knew the Lord’s return will come unexpectedly “like a thief in the night” I Thessalonians 5:1-2 Therefore, Paul focuses on what we should be doing with the time we have left.
We are only assured of His coming. But don’t forget, MARANATHA!
“Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.” Luke 12:40.
Live ready, be prepared for His Kingdom.
Prayer: help me O Lord to live ready for your coming.
