HEAVEN: AN EVERLASTING HOME 1

Heaven was prepared for you, and it was prepared for you from the foundation of the world. When God started thinking up earth, He also started thinking up heaven because we’re not meant to live here. This world the bible says is not our home, we are pilgrims on earth. This is not all there is, there’s more to life than just this life. In truth, you might get to spend 120 years in this world or maybe a little less, and that’s a good thing, because you wouldn’t want to live an imperfect life forever. You want to live in a perfect place forever.

Our home is in heaven, and we should be thrilled and eager to expect what it brings. We are going to spend gazillions to infinity and beyond in eternity and God the great architect, designed it so for you. He loves you dearly and wants to live forever with you! This is an amazing expression of the love of God. God created the entire universe because He wanted a family, He desired a family that will live with Him forever – He wasn’t lonely, He’s never been lonely, but He chose to express His love by creating man in His image.

You were planned for God’s pleasure, you were made to live forever, and the implication of this is you are either going to last forever in heaven or hell. The choice is yours to decide.

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me walk in your statute and heed to your word! I choose to follow you and be with you on that glorious day of the Lord.
