THE PRAYER OF BINDING AND LOOSING

“Or again, how can anyone enter a strong man's house and carry off his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can rob his house.”
Matthew 12:29 (NIV)
Main Text:

 God intends for the Body of Christ to police the evil forces of this world. He wants us to change circumstances to line up with His will and place Satan under our feet by His word. Ephesians 1:22 “And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.” (KJV) Jesus is the head of the church, and if all things are under His feet, we are heirs with Christ Jesus, therefore, all things are under our feet. We have been given authority over the devil. Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (NKJV) Jesus has given you the authority, therefore, don’t be afraid to exercise it over Satan and his cohorts. Matthew 18:18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven ...” (NKJV) Exercise your faith in Jesus’ work at Calvary.

When Jesus was raised from the dead, He stripped Satan of his authority over mankind. That authority has been delegated to the Body of Christ in the earth. By the name of Jesus, you have the authority to bind Satan.

When you bind Satan, you render him helpless in your situation. Never give the devil any place by talking about the problem after you have agreed and bound him, rather than talking about the problem, talk about the answer which is God’s Word over the situation. Hebrews 1:14. We can loose the angelic forces of God to see that what we prayed about is brought to light. They are messengers sent to work on our behalf.

Confession: I declare, I send forth ministering Spirits to minister on my behalf because I am an heir of salvation. I am one with God, therefore, I am prosperous. In the name of Jesus, I bind the wicked one and I command you Satan to get your hands off my family, finances and all that pertains to me. Glory to God.
