THE EARTH SHALL BE COVERED
“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.”
Hab 2:14
Main Text: Main text: Romans 1:16
God is waiting on His men and women to fulfill this prophecy! The new creation has the sole responsibility to cover the earth with the glory and knowledge of God. As new creations in Christ, we are dedicated to evangelism. The scriptures declare that the earth shall be covered with His glory and knowledge, but God won’t do this Himself because "the heavens are the Lord's, but the earth He has given to the children of men" (Psalm 115:16). We are the body of Christ, His mouthpiece on the earth, and His ambassadors. It is our duty to spread His word to the nations and ensure that His glory fills the earth.
One way or another, you must give yourself to kingdom work. It’s an eyesore when you don't tell anyone about Jesus and what He has done for you, or when you don’t give to the promotion of His kingdom on earth, yet refer to yourself as a new creation. It should never be said that a new creature in Christ is not dedicated to evangelism in some form. The primary reason for us to be new creatures is not to sit idly with a bottle of wine in our hands, merely confessing our faith, but to actively knock down the works of darkness and draw more men to Jesus Christ. We are called to spread His message and bring others into the light of His salvation.
The earth must be covered with the gospel, and we must not fail God in this mission. We must win everyone to Jesus and draw all men to the Lord. It is possible to get this world saved because the gospel is not for a select few—it is for everybody. Hallelujah! Let us commit ourselves fully to this task, spreading the message of salvation far and wide, so that every soul has the opportunity to know and accept Jesus Christ.
Confession:
In the Name of Jesus, I declare that the earth shall be covered with the knowledge of the glory of God. I am a dedicated soul-winner, a kingdom financier, and a committed servant in the work of God. I give my time, my money, and my voice to glorify Jesus.
