GOOD SUCCESS “
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.â€
Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
Main Text:
In life, there is good success and bad success. Bad success is the kind of success which robs you of time with your family, friends, church, and destroys your health and relationships. On the other hand, good success, depicts prosperity in every area of your life.
God wants you to enjoy success and the key to this lies in what God told Joshua when he took over the reins from Moses. Spending time in God’s Word daily will give you godly wisdom which will make your way prosperous and give you good success. Look at how Joshua’s life turned out in the end. When he died, they buried him within the border of his inheritance at Timnath Serah (Joshua 24:30). Joshua had a whole mountain for his inheritance! This means he was prosperous and successful.
It’s worthy to note that Israel also served the Lord not idols all the days of Joshua (Joshua 24:31). This means whilst Joshua was around, people were impacted with the glory of God. When you make God’s Word priority in your daily life, not only will your finances be blessed, your business/ministry and family life will be blessed.
Prayer: Father in the name of Jesus, I am disciplined to study your word. Good success is my portion in Jesus name.
