YOU ARE NOT MEANT FOR UNDER

And she said, “Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
Matthew 15: 27
Main Text:

In our today’s further reading, Adonibezek was the king of Bezek. He had had the big toes and thumbs of seventy kings cut off. He had captured those kings and forced them to eat crumbs that fell from his table. He would throw bones, leftovers and phlegm at them. He would invite his allies to watch these spectacles. He would thrash the captured kings who refused to be disgraced. Rev. 1: 6 tells us that as Christians, we are priests and kings. We are not to be lifted by the heathen, by the likes of Adonibezek.  We are not to be kings who eat under the table. We are to rule and reign as king in a kingdom.

Have your big toes and hands been mutilated or amputated? Or, have they tied you up in the spirit realm? Who is the Adonibezek in your life? This day, as you read this devotional, in that name that is above every other name, God will capture your Adonibezeks put them to shame in Jesus’ name.

Beloved, your hands and legs are very vital to you. “Go ye to the nations …” means using the legs. “Lay hands on the sick …” means using the hands. What can make Christians suffer is lack in understanding of God’s Word. What can bring capture is sin, or disobedience, doing the wrong thing, saying the wrong words, etc When Samson’s sexual sin led to his capture, he lost his eyes and many notable people that involved in  the sin of fornication never remain the same in life-their story was messed up!. Steer clear of sin. Stay clear of bad company. Jesus loves you and wants you to enjoy in His Kingdom– Mt. 15: 27.

Prayer: Lord, the sons of the strangers will not eat my corn in Jesus’ name.
