ONLY FAITH CAN MOVE GOD

“Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him”
Hebrews 11:6
Main Text:

Have you ever thought about what can move God? The Bible says without faith no man can see God. The disciples were in the boat, the wind blew furiously and waves pound around them. They were already scared when they suddenly saw Jesus walking along the waves! Peter wanted to walk too, Jesus invited him out, Peter stepped out, did walk until blooper (mistake of distraction)!-Down he began to sink. Later Jesus told Peter he had little faith. But look at what Peter did with his ‘little’ faith, Jesus Christ was moved by his action. When we walk in faith, our prayers become more effective and His power is released in us.

God has equipped every person with a measure a faith. Our part is to walk with Him to allow that faith to grow in our lives. The Bible says in Romans that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. In other words, faith begins where the will of God is known. When you know that God’s will is for you to be saved, it ignites faith in your heart.

Like a seed in the ground, your faith can grow and reach out to all areas of your life. When you develop the habit of reading God’s Word, you are watering those seeds of faith. When you stay connected to a good, Bible-based church where the true word of God is shared, it’s like adding light and nutrients for those seeds of faith to grow.

As you diligently seek after Him, allow faith to develop in your heart. Study to show yourself approved as a man rightly dividing the word of truth! The amount of word you know will be what you will need to operate your faith. I implore you to choose to please God in all you’re doing especially as the 1st quarter of 2019 ends this March..

Prayer: I will always please you in all I do O Lord.
