BE SMART IN MAKING GOOD OF TIME

“He who pursues righteousness and loyalty finds life...”
Proverbs 21:21, NASB
Main Text:

The greatest asset of man on the earth is time. Your time spent is equal to your life spent. In other words, time is life as the saying goes. Each second, minute and hour that has passed draws you closer to the result of your assignment. If you cannot tie up your assignment properly within the specified time, you would end up a waste in place of fruitfulness. How do you feel anytime a bus you boarded is slowing down on the road or being delayed by police officer? You react angrily! That actually should be our disposition to time being wasted

Therefore, it is expedient that you begin to maximise every moment of your life positively

Anything that engages your time is directly or indirectly engaging your life. It’s either your time is positively utilised towards the actualisation of your desired goal or wasted on frivolous and unprofitable adventure. Look back and see, this year is fast moving, have gained so far? What have you done with your time this 2018? Every moment of our life is golden. There’s a blessing and opportunity attached to every time you spend on earth.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1.

Until you learn to avoid time wasters on your assignment, work, business and ministry, you will never attain greatness in all definitions. Your greatest time waster is procrastination. This is your chief enemy. It’s the enemy within and a younger brother to laziness. There are some friends you keep that have nothing to add but to subtract. These friends abound in your church, flats, workplace, office and marriage. They affect you negatively and will never allow you to fulfil God’s mandate per time.

You do not need motivation from anybody beloved. This message is coming so that you will encourage yourself and start looking inwardly at what you should have appropriated with a wise use of your time.

Prayer: Help me to make profitable use of my time for You O Lord.
