PLEADING THE BLOOD

"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death."
Revelation 12:11 (NKJV)
Main Text:

What does it mean to plead the blood? First of all, we need to understand that pleading the blood has nothing to do with a beggarly mentality. It also has nothing to do with constantly repeating empty words. Many believers consider the blood as something that was shed 2,000 years ago and do not see how it can be applied to their daily living. There are many today who do not believe in pleading the blood and even speak against it. They have chosen to be ignorant. Pleading the blood is powerful and valid for today, Jesus gave it to us as a weapon of war. The blood isn't just for the past but for the present as well as the future. To plead the blood is to apply its protective power in current situations. Revelations 12:10-11 …Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ. For the accuser of our brothers has been thrown down… (BSB).

The blood of Jesus is bad news for the devil. The blood of Jesus is the basis of our relationship with God. According to the book of Hebrews, we are told that the blood of Jesus speaks better things for us than the blood of Abel. (Hebrews 12:24).
Both the blood of Jesus and Abel's blood spoke different things. Abel's blood spoke vengeance and judgement whereas Jesus' blood spoke/speaks forgiveness, justification, redemption, deliverance, healing, peace and victory. in Life, there are so many things that speak against us-- the past speaks against us, friends speak against us, family speak against us, enemies speak against us, sin speaks against us, and Satan himself speaks against us, that's why he's called the accuser of the brethren.  But thank God we have overcome through the blood of Jesus.

Prayer: Glory to God, the blood speaks on my behalf, therefore, I excel. I am triumphant by the blood. I am redeemed. Praise God.
I am protected by the blood
