MOUNTAIN MOVING FAITH
But Jesus turned … And said, Daughter be of good Comfort your faith has made you whole
Matthew 9: 22
Main Text:
Faith among other things has been described as the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. It is invisible and yet carries with it evidence of those things you are looking up to God for. The elders or heroes of faith understood this concept and were able to obtain a good report. The Bible says ‘these ones through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouth of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiantly in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again.’ Hebrews 11: 33-35
Beloved, the above-mentioned heroes of faith were born the same way as you and I were born but they became extra-ordinary people by their display and practice of faith.
The above scripture reveals the courage exhibited by the woman with the issue of blood who demonstrated her faith in Jesus Christ which forced Jesus to discover that an extra-ordinary power went out of Him; He later turned to the woman and declared that her faith had made her whole. Faith is an extra-ordinary power that has an ability to make impossibility ordinary. It can make something out of nothing. This woman had spent a lot of money all to no avail but by the instrumentality of faith, she was made whole.
Beloved, this extra-ordinary power called the force of faith is available to everyone including you, to contend and challenge every mountain ahead of you in this 2018. If you will learn to work on your faith through the word of God, it will produce result for you.
Romans 10: 17 Remember faith is the victory that overcomes in this world of wickedness.
Prayer: Lord, increase my faith to produce great result in my life.
