BUILD A DREAM
Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
Proverbs 16:3 (KJV)
Main Text:
If you were absolutely guaranteed of success in any one goal in life, large or small, short-term or long-term, what would it be? What one great goal would you dare to dream if you knew you could not fail? Rom 5:5 “And hope maketh not ashamed” We all have hope, however, hope has to be defined. When we say hope, we mean the Romans 5:5 kind of hope not some wishful thinking form of hope.
Biblical hope is the confident expectancy that comes when you get an inner image of something that hasn’t happened yet. Most individuals aren’t familiar with biblical hope, they are however, quite experienced in “worry” which is a negative form of hope. Worry begins with a thought in a person’s mind, as it progresses that thought becomes a mental image.
Hope works that same way, the difference is hope’s picture are not based on natural circumstances and Satanic inspired fear but on the Word of God. Abraham hoped against hope, He built a picture in His mind because God’s promises to him was a picture contrary to the picture of childlessness that his circumstance had given him. Rom 4:18 “Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, so shall thy seed be.”
Confession: Thank You Lord for the Spirit of faith at work in me, I have hope that all your promises to me are ye and amen unto the glory of God – I achieve all I set my heart to, I walk in absolute wisdom and direction, I enjoy the providence of Jehovah! In Jesus name, Amen.
