The Privilege of Evangelism
“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”
Prov 11:30
Main Text: Main Text: 2 Tim 4:2
Evangelism is both a command and a privilege. We have been entrusted with the most important message in the world—the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. Whether through words or actions, every believer has a role to play in spreading the Good News. As we step out in faith, empowered by the Holy Spirit, we can be confident that God will use our efforts to draw others to Himself.
The ripple effect of evangelism can be immeasurable. When you share the gospel, you may not immediately see the fruit, but God promises that His Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Each soul that turns to Christ is a victory for the Kingdom of God, and the impact extends beyond that individual. One life transformed by the gospel can influence families, communities, and even nations.
You don’t need to wait for a special occasion to share the gospel. Everyday conversations, whether at work, in social gatherings, or with family, can provide natural openings to discuss your faith. It is a great privilege to tell people about Jesus Christ.
Confession:
I declare that I am a soul winner, and I thank God for the privilege of sharing the message of Jesus with others. I walk in the grace and power to bring people to the knowledge of Christ, and I rejoice in the opportunity to see lives transformed through the gospel. Amen!
