REIGNING WITH CHRIST
“If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us.”
2 Tim 2:12

Many of us have been taught that as Christians, we are called to reign on earth as kings, and while this teaching is true, there is another essential aspect of reigning with Christ—suffering for His sake. Scripture reminds us that if we suffer for Christ, we will also reign with Him. This means that enduring the opposition of others, persevering in prayer, dedicating ourselves to soul winning, and taking up our cross daily are all part of sharing in His reign. However, if we deny Him before others, He will deny us as well. Embracing a life of sacrifice draws us into deeper relevance with Christ and positions us to reign with Him.
We have been redeemed not only to reign with Christ but also to suffer for His sake. As Paul reminds us in Philippians 1:29: “For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.” While prosperity and reigning are part of God’s plan for your life, an essential principle of reigning with Christ is the willingness to suffer for Him.
The Apostle Paul reveals a profound truth: those who persevere in faith are truly united with Christ and will live and reign with Him forever (2 Timothy 2:11–13). Enduring the challenges of following Christ opens the door to His grace, empowering you to rule and reign in this life.

I declare, I am blessed and highly favored by God. I rule and reign on the earth as His beloved, and I follow Christ all the days of my life. His guidance and grace lead me, and I walk in His light always. Amen.
