SEPARATION 1

“Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom.”
Proverbs 18:1(KJV)
Main Text:

God desires we attain great feats in life, however, we sometimes don’t attain these blessings by moving with the crowd. Most times, God expects us to become separated from the general public to be able to understand what blessing or plan He has in store for us. Taking a cue from the great man Abram, we see he had a great future in God, he was destined for great things and the advancement of humanity, however, his position at the time hindered him from attaining the blessing. Genesis 12:1-3 “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (KJV)

Most times, we need to be separated from the world to walk in the counsel of God. Jesus separated Himself many times from the public primarily because He desired to know the perfect will of God for Him for the hour.  Luke 5:16And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.” KJV. Proverbs 18:1 “Through desire a man, having separated himself, seeketh and intermeddleth with all wisdom”.

Every man on earth has one desire or the other, however, it is he who chooses to separate himself from the general public and seek the wisdom from above that gets his desires into reality. In Genesis 13, Abraham had settled and the blessing upon his life wasn’t just a fantasy but a reality, however he had not attained God’s perfect desire for him.

Confession; I am blessed, I walk in the blessings of Abraham, I am the redeemed of the Lord therefore whatsoever I say is so; I declare I am blessed.

Prayer: I refuse ‘strangers’ in my life by the Holy Spirit
