PRAYER OF AGREEMENT

“Then Ezra blessed the Lord the great God. And all the people answered, “Amen, Amen!” while lifting up their hands; then they bowed low and worshiped the Lord with their faces to the ground.”
Acts 1:14
Main Text: Main Text: Nehemiah 8:6

To have victory in your families it is very important that you all engage this form of prayer. The prayer of Agreement is a major tool for victory for any family, couple, friend, co-worker to survive the harsh realities of life. For instance, during the lockdown in the year 2020, I and my wife made it mandatory for every member of my family to worship the Lord together for 30 minutes every morning, we did this in agreement and God’s faithfulness saw us through that period. As a family, it is essential that we pray together, as the popular saying goes, “A family that prays together, stays and grow together.”

For the prayer of agreement to work, there must be two of you. And you must be on earth. That fits us! When using the prayer of agreement, I do not imply that things will come to you like ripe cherries falling from a tree. You must stand your ground against the devil. People often fight for their rights and what belongs to them. They will lose sleep and put forth every effort. But when it comes to spiritual things, they will roll over, shut their eyes, and play dead! We need to get down to business and find out where the answer is.

The prayer of Agreement is a tool Jesus gave us for speedy answers to prayers. He said if any two of you join hands on a matter, I will do it for you. Boy! That’s power!! Could it be that the reason for that lack and want is because you haven’t held hands with your spouse to call the things that be not as though they were.

Confession:

We pray and declare the love, glory and unity of God between family members as we as a family submit in totality unto the Lordship of Jesus. We pray over our children, their children, and their children unto the 10th generation. Their education will be 1st and foremost to be trained in the WAYS and the fear of the Lord. We pray that you protect them from peer pressure and set them free from the spirit of this world. We pray for future partners to be godly men and women. Fearing God and trusting God alone. We will be passionate about Jesus!
