THE BURNING ALTAR

God wants His people on perpetual fire for Him and His work, however, this fire can only be birth through the principles of prayer, fasting and an ardent study of the Word of God. When you develop the culture of spending time in God’s presence, your life will become transformed from the inside out, which will manifest the evident power of God upon your life.

The secret to having a burning altar is a life of deep consecration before the Lord. No one is higher than his/her prayer life, if your prayer life is dormant, the hard truth is you will be a lightweight in the matters of the spirit, making you an easy prey for the enemy.

The popular saying, when you don’t pray you become a prey is very true in today's world. To manifest the power of God, to ensure a burning altar, you must be a person consecrated to God! The reason for your burning is to be like Him. Jesus is our ultimate model; therefore, we must ensure to be like him and keep the fire burning!

Prayer:

Father, I pray that the fire on my altar will keep burning continually in Jesus’ name. I pray that the fire on my altar will not go out in Jesus’ name.
