REACH YOUR WORLD

“And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.”
Mark 5:20
Main Text: MAIN TEXT: LUKE 8:26-36

The story of the "mad man of Gadara" offers profound lessons about transformation and evangelism. This man, tormented by a legion of demons, experienced a radical change when he encountered Jesus. Once healed, his life took a complete turn—from living among the tombs and being feared by his community to becoming a powerful witness for Christ.

His response to Jesus' miracle was not to retreat into comfort or complacency but to actively spread the news of what Jesus had done for him. By doing so, he reached the entire region of Decapolis. Decapolis is a  group of ten cities, sharing his testimony and demonstrating the transformative power of Christ. This man's story reminds us that our testimonies of what Jesus has done in our lives can be powerful tools for reaching others. Just as he told the people about his healing, we too can share how Jesus has transformed our lives, helping to lead others to faith. With his testimony He reached ten cities for the Lord. With all Jesus has done for you, how many cities have you reached for Him?

Taking a cue from this man, if we are to truly impact the world for Jesus, we must be willing to go beyond our comfort zones and boldly share our stories of transformation. It's through these personal testimonies that the message of Jesus' power and love is most effectively spread. If a man who was mad can become an evangelist through his testimony, what excuse do you have?

Confession:

In the Name of Jesus, I boldly declare, I am committed to doing the work of an evangelist. I passionately share the Good News of Jesus Christ with those around me, spreading His love and truth wherever I go. I prioritize the Kingdom of God above all else in my life. I strive to align my actions, thoughts, and desires with God's will, knowing that when I seek His Kingdom first, everything else will be added to me. As I fulfill my divine mandate, I am blessed with true riches from heaven. God’s abundance flows into my life, not just in material wealth but in spiritual riches that endure forever. His blessings equip me to continue advancing His Kingdom and fulfilling my purpose.
