EXPLOIT FOR THE KINGDOM

“Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.”
Jonah 3:2
Main Text: MAIN TEXT: Matthew 20:18-20

The Bible encourages believers to rise and do great things for God. Psalm 108:13 declares, “Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” Our primary enemy is the devil, whose strongholds are dismantled through the preaching and teaching of the Word of God. Exploits for God involve boldly sharing the gospel, teaching His truth, and winning souls for His kingdom.

Paul’s admonition in 2 Timothy 4:2 urges us to, “Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.” This is a clear call to unwavering dedication in proclaiming the message of Christ. Regardless of the circumstances, we must remain steadfast in fulfilling this divine assignment. The prophet Daniel provides insight into the source of this boldness, saying in Daniel 11:32, “The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Knowing God intimately is the foundation for accomplishing great things for Him. This knowledge empowers believers to step out in faith and undertake spiritual battles with the assurance of victory.

One of the greatest ways to do exploits is by building the church of God and breaking Satan’s hold on the minds of the lost. As 2 Corinthians 4:4-5 explains, “The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord.” Preaching Christ is the antidote to spiritual blindness, and it is through this ministry that we bring light to darkened hearts.

Doing exploits means engaging in “business in great waters” (Psalm 107:23), taking bold steps to win souls for God. Each soul brought into the kingdom reflects a victory against the forces of darkness. As ambassadors of Christ, we are called to shine His light, break the chains of the enemy, and bring the hope of salvation to a lost world. Let us dedicate ourselves to the work of the kingdom, knowing that through God, we can do valiantly. The task is urgent, the harvest is plentiful, and the reward is eternal. Let us rise and do exploits for His glory!

Confession:

I declare, I am empowered by the Spirit of God to do great exploits for Christ. I boldly preach the gospel and win the lost to the Kingdom. I am an ambassador of Christ, filled with His wisdom and grace, reaching my world with His love and light. Souls are drawn into the Kingdom through my witness, and I rejoice in the privilege of serving the Lord. Hallelujah!
