SAY NO TO ALL FORMS OF LAZINESS

And Elijah said unto all the people, come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.
1 Kings 18:30 KJV
Main Text:

Laziness is a major weapon the world at large is struggling with today. As a matter of fact, it has become a potent tool the devil is employing to finish the destiny of young and adult people all over. If you allow this strange spirit to come over you, it can destroy your destiny.

Another weapon working closely with laziness is procrastination. This is a major armour bearer for the spirit of laziness. These two are like identical twins working tirelessly for each other.  Once these two manifest in any area of your life, be it spiritually or physically you will find it difficult to climb the ladder of success. You need to carefully consider your actions towards your mission assignments and your attitude to work. If you cannot take hold of yourself and allow these forces to reign in your life, you will be cheating on yourself and it won’t be pleasant the consequence, the kind of results you will take home at the end of the day. Check your spiritual life and consider your lifestyle at work and on your business. If you are not acting according to all that is demanded, you need to brace up so as to hit the desired mark. That’s what makes you victorious in the race to eternity in Christ.

If laziness enters into your spiritual life, it will cripple your communication with God and rob you of your godly knowledge and inheritance in Christ. Start with your daily prayer life and quiet time. Build a relationship with your Maker in your Bible study.

Elijah was quick to put the broken altar back in shape. He called on God and was answered in no time.  If your spiritual life is corrected, every area of your life will be well aligned to function effectively.

Prayer: Father, I rebuke laziness in my life today and forever in the name of Jesus
