A WILL TO WIN 2

..... A man was going from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.
Luke 10: 30
Main Text:

One of the definitions of will is the ability to control your thoughts and action in order to achieve a task. It is a strong determination to do something that you desire to do. It can also be described as a strong desire to achieve a feat for God, in ministry, in career, in business, in the society and in the world at large.

The above scripture reveals the story of a man, who was going from Jerusalem to Jericho; research shows that the road from Jerusalem to Jericho was about 18miles, known as the ‘bloody way’ the most dangerous zone because of level of evil being perpetrated in that region – a battle field, no wonder Jesus said ‘I have you a safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions and protection from every assault of the enemy. No one can put a hand on you Luke 10: 19 msg.

Beloved of God, are you being oppressed or opposed by the enemy? Do you sense a demonic assault against your business, career or marriage and you feel like calling it quit? Beloved don’t do that, never give the enemy a chance, and remember, Jesus said, you have been given protection from every assault of the enemy. Appropriate the prevailing word of God to your life, challenge every travail in contest before God of war, remain courageous – for a man’s courage can sustain his broken body but when courage dies what hope is left?

Don’t give up on yourself, have a will to win, strongly desire to overcome and God will show up on your behalf in the name of Jesus.

Prayer: Lord I take refuge in your word, help my willing mind
