FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS

“Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.”
Hebrews 10:19 (KJV)
Main Text:

When you think about fellowship, you are likely to think about time spent over a cup of tea or time spent enjoying the company of friends. Fellowship is closeness – a friendship. That’s what we have with God, however, it was bought with a price. 1 Cor 6:20 “For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.”

Before Adam fell, he enjoyed intimacy and fellowship with God in the Garden, after his fall, sin separated him from that friendship and that friendship could only be restored by the blood of Jesus. Now, over two thousand years later, we can boldly enter into God’s presence. The blood of Jesus builds a mighty wall between sin and the believer. This blood made it possible for us to boldly say we have been made the righteousness of God through Jesus (2 Cor. 5:21).

Another word for fellowship is communion. One of the ways to recognize what the blood provided for us via fellowship is through the partaking of communion (1 Cor 11:23-26). The communion is much deeper than a religious obligation, it’s recognizing what God did for you through the blood of Jesus. YOU ARE A FRIEND OF GOD!

Confession: I declare in the name of Jesus, I enjoy fellowship with God, I have a growing and deep relationship with my Heavenly Father, I hear His voice and heed to His leading, I am a friend of God, therefore, I am protected, loved, and valued! God is for me, no one can be against me! Glory to God.
