GOD LOVES YOU!
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
Main Text:
The greatest news anyone on earth can hear is that – God loves them. The proof of this love is seen when God sends Jesus to the cross to save man from destruction, sin, calamity and judgment. God didn’t just send Jesus to die for a particular religious’ sect, He sent Him to die for the whole world. Jesus died for the ungodly, hopeless, sinner, and those who have chosen to hate on God.
God assures us of His love towards us in Psalm 11:5 “Ps 100:5 (HCSB) “For the Lord is good, and His love is eternal; His faithfulness endures through all generations.” God’s love towards man is eternal and faithful, this is why despite the fall of man, God didn’t love us any less but instead chose to redeem us back to Himself.
As believers, we should have more than a mental understanding that God loves us and we must be firmly grounded in that love. We should believe it to be so good and genuine, that it will keep us safe from harm in every situation.
Confession
I boldly declare God loves me and He loves me with an everlasting love – I am wonderfully and fearfully made, I and blessed, chosen and valued by God, Hallelujah!
