CHOOSE GOODNESS

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.
Hebrews 13:16 KJV
Main Text:

The Bible reassures that evil will slay the wicked, therefore you are better advised now to stop any act of wickedness and cruelty in your mind.  Some people are naturally mean and their excuse is their foundation, upbringing, and past experiences. Though you had it rough in the past, you do not need to continue in that way because at that time you were not enjoying those acts of wickedness from your past teachers, guardians, friends, relatives or parents so why now? It’s wrong for you to rejoice in cruelty or act in absolute wickedness to your own children, maids, workers, friends and strangers. The result of your deeds will soon speak out unless you have chosen to repent and act godly as one who has seen the light of the gospel.

If iniquity be in thine hand, put it far away, and let not wickedness dwell in thy tabernacles. Job 11 vs. 14.

You are digging your early grave and heaping up earthly sorrows if you fail to desist from wicked acts. Be it known to you that majority of the people you lead or govern in wickedness are not praying for you rather they send curses and abuses your way everyday. I know you are aware that God is also not happy about every single act of wickedness or iniquity because He’s a good God. Jesus also was in the same shoes as we are today. People showed Him evil but He gave only good in return not to one but to all and that’s why we rejoice in His salvation today. Acts 10. There’s no gain in being evil except eternal destruction in hell because evil acts will identify you without constraints.

What are you called at home, in your office, church and neighbourhood? Do you even bother to ask or check out your impact on people around? Learn to be good and to be a source of blessing to people living with and around you.

Prayer: Lord, step into my case and deliver me from eternal damnation
