FULFILL YOUR GODLY ASSIGNMENT

Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
Ecclesiastes 9:10
Main Text:

I wish to recommend this book again titled ‘A Purpose Driven Life’ by Rick Warren to you. And in case you have read it by now, please go and read it again and again then we can really know the essence of living. Any life that will not glorify God is “a purposeless driven life by demons” and such life will be useless. Have you seen the miscreants when they feel high with alcohols? Nothing seems valuable to them at that point. Whereas, there is no one in life born useless and without one purpose or the other we must discover the reason for living in order to make a great destiny in life.

Do not enrich the grave. After death, you will account for those abilities, talents to write, sing, win souls, teach etc., which you failed to use they will become eternal exhibits used against you. All unutilized talents at death belong to the tomb. The cemetery is said to be the richest place on earth because it is the abode of all unused talents, opportunities and abilities, and even anointing. In 2 Kings 13:20-21, we see Elisha’s remains raised up a dead man who was accidentally dumped into Elisha’s grave. What shall be said of you?

Beloved, to what are you giving most of your time, energy and money? Remember that your time will be up someday. Some of us have even lost our salvation to the pursuit of material things-things which sooner or later will be separated from us. But the one who focuses on the things from above – a thriving relationship with God, the fruit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit, winning several souls for Christ, advancing the work of God’s kingdom, etc., will have the rewards awaiting him or her in eternity (Col.3:1-3). Be a part!

Prayer: let me use my riches for you O Lord than to go with them to the cemetery.
