POSSESSING THE MIND OF CHRIST

To fully grasp what this portion of scripture talks about, we have to understand the meaning of the word “Christ”. The Hebrew word meaning the same thing is Mashiach, or as we know it—Messiah. So, Christ is more a title than it is a name. Christ means “The Anointed One with His Anointing.” Therefore, when we say we have the mind of Christ, what we are really saying is we have anointed minds or the mind of the Anointed One.

We have the mind of Christ, our minds are anointed, we are not limited in anyway, we are created to succeed and invent new pathways of success for the world to follow. In whatever sphere we find ourselves, it’s important to note that we are supposed to be shining, hence the reason, Jesus says, “Let your light so shine before men”.

You were created to make discoveries as you sojourn in the earth, however, you need to expand the scope of your mind beyond what where you currently are. You are a co-worker with God, and you have an anointed mind, don’t limit yourself!

Confession:

I declare I have an anointed mind, I have the mind of Christ, I invent new things, I am a success.
