BE HEALTHY AND KEEP THE FAITH 1
“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.â€
1 Timothy 4:8
Main Text:
The best favour you can do for yourself is to live healthy both physically and spiritually in life. You need a good balance and daily exercise to stay completely healthy in life. It’s not in your interest to be confined to sick bed in the race of life. This is why you need to watch your life and take conscious efforts to keep your body, soul and spirit together in good state. Beloved, you must be spiritually sound and fit to be successful in life. You have heard it said severally that it’s the spirit man that controls the physical. This means that the physical manifestations that you see all around you originated from the realm of the spirit and it’s very important you take this to heart if you don’t want to fall a victim of several attacks of the wicked. If you are weak spiritually, you will lose several of your virtues and kingdom benefits to the devil.
“For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” 1 Timothy 4:8.
Beloved, what’s your spiritual weight? It’s of no benefit if you are a spiritual feather weight. It must be evident that you are a spiritual giant. Don’t deceive yourself with your height and size when you lack the necessary spiritual vigour. Build your spiritual muscles with daily study of the word of God and prayers. Without a direct connection to God as your source, you can never be counted among the spiritual heavy weight champions in life. You will always need God and sound faith in His word to grow from spiritual infancy unto maturity. It’s not about the number of years you have been going to church. It’s either you are on the Lord’s side or on the devil’s side.
Prayer: Father, please help and guide me to exercise my faith unto all godliness
