DO YOU HAVE A GOOD REPORT-a testimony?
“Daniel, servant of the living God! Was your God, whom you serve so faithfully, able to rescue you from the lions?â€
Daniel 6:20b
Main Text:
How many of us feel the impulse of the statement above concerning Daniel? Look, it was the powerful king of the land that made that declaration about him. How did that happen? Everything about his life showed he lived in the fear of God. How many people can speak good of you in your neighbourhood? How many people can accept Christ because of your character in the area you lived in now?
In life most people won’t ever literally come face to face with a hungry lion, but we’ve all been in a situation where we feel like we are about to be “eaten up” or destroyed. Now look at Daniel, he was a man of prayer who will never run away from his fears.
Daniel lived a life of excellence and found favour with the king. The king kept promoting him and giving him more authority which made the other administrators jealous and angry. I speak over you in this 2018, you will be favoured in every situation of your life. Kings and powerful hands shall locate you for divine blessing in the name of Jesus.
They later manipulated the king into signing a law that Daniel could not follow I say evil manipulations shall come to nothing in your life in this 2018, in the name of Jesus.
Daniel prayed and still found himself in the lion’s den. How would you respond in that situation? I’m sure Daniel believed that God would deliver Him. I’m sure he hoped it would be before he was thrown into that den. Have you ever prayed and prayed for something and it looked like things just kept getting worse? Daniel trusted that God was working His plan for His glory. In the end, Daniel was protected and his enemies were destroyed.
Don’t be discouraged because God loves you. Keep trusting Him. He’ll be with you till the end.
Prayer: Fill my heart with Your Word O Lord.
