THE COVENANT OF BLOOD
"For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins."
Matthew 26:28 (NKJV)
Main Text: Main text: Galatians 3:13-14
Understanding the concept of covenant is crucial for believers seeking a deeper knowledge of God, as God is a covenant-making and covenant-keeping God. Covenant operations reveal the essence of the Bible and the unlimited resources available to believers.
A covenant is a binding agreement or obligation between parties, and the strongest and most binding form is the blood covenant. The Hebrew word for covenant translates to "cut until blood flows," emphasizing the connection between covenant and blood. God initiated the blood covenant with mankind, starting with the shedding of blood to cover Adam's sin. The ultimate expression of this covenant came when God sent the perfect Lamb, Jesus, to die for the sins of the world (John 1:29).
The new covenant is designed for the intimate relationship and fellowship between God and man. God, in His faithfulness, loyalty, and dependability, provided the covenant to ensure the best relationship with humanity. Jesus, by shedding His blood, became the foundation for the covenant, allowing believers to experience fellowship with God. The reason believers exist today is because of Jesus' redemptive work on the cross. Galatians 3:13-14 emphasizes that Christ redeemed believers from the curse of the law, becoming a curse for them, so they could receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
Prayer:
I am redeemed and a partaker of the New Covenant. I enjoy peace, salvation, joy, and deliverance, protected by the precious blood of Jesus.

Galatians 3:13-14 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.”
John 3:16-18 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”
