THE POWER OF THE BLOOD
“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”
Heb 9:22
Main Text: Main text: Hebrews 10:4
At the blood bank, human blood has an expiration date and must be discarded once it passes its usage timeframe. In contrast, the blood of Jesus is not subject to decay or loss of power. It is perfect and eternal, shed for our redemption. Because of His sacrifice, we are declared righteous. As Scripture states, "without the shedding of blood, there is no remission for sin." The efficacy of Jesus' blood remains unchanging and everlasting, securing our redemption forever.
The blood of animals, whether from pets or wild creatures, was never sufficient to remove the effects of sin. Only the blood of Jesus could address sin and its consequences. Jesus’ blood not only atones for sin but also addresses sicknesses, diseases, poverty, and all the works of the devil. As Hebrews 10:4 states, "For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins." Through Jesus’ sacrifice, we are liberated from sin, poverty, and all malicious works of the devil.
We are greatly privileged to commune with the blood of Jesus, which is eternal and God's ultimate solution for sin and its effects. We must never lose faith in its power, for it is the final and complete answer to sin and its consequences.
Confession:
I am bought with a price—the precious blood of Jesus Christ. I am redeemed and set apart as a cherished possession of God. My life is not my own; it belongs to Him who sacrificed everything for me. I am richly blessed by the Lord in every area of my life. His favor, grace, and abundance overflow in my existence, and I walk in the fullness of His blessings.
