THE POWER OF TESTIMONY
“And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
Revelation 12:11 (KJV)
Main Text:
Testimony is a part of the faith life. If you want to develop robust faith, then continually tell what the Lord is doing for you. The more you talk about it, the more real He becomes to you, on the other hand, the less you talk about it, the less real He becomes to you. Sharing your testimony helps you heal and bring God’s people closer together.
The Latin word for testimony is “testis” which means witness. Compassionate witnessing of our personal series helps us recover and helps other do the same. Humans thrive off connection, it is something that needs to survive and thrive in our lives. Not only does sharing our testimony help us heal but our story can be a catalyst for healing in other people’s lives.
Saint Francis of Assisi said “Preach the gospel always, when necessary use words.” There’s nothing more powerful than the testimony of the miraculous. Jesus and His disciples used them to confirm that the words they spoke were truth. Mark 16:20 (MSG) “And the disciples went everywhere preaching, the Master working right with them, validating the Message with indisputable evidence.]”
Prayer: Dear Lord, I testify of your goodness, I have tasted and seen that you are good, therefore, I thank you for your goodness. In Jesus name.

Heb 11:5 (KJV) “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”
