CHOOSE GOODNESS 2
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6: 10
Main Text:
This Scripture, be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6: 7. Has been a guide to me for so many years. I’m constantly reminded of the season of harvest and whether you like it or not you will harvest your deeds and works here on earth and in life everlasting. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5:10: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
You need to understand that your current state is a function of your previous seeds sown and your attitude to work and the things of God. If you refuse to labour correctly it will show in your results during harvest. If you have no reason to celebrate at the moment check your seed and all that you have in your records. One of the reasons you must choose to follow God and obey His rules is for your future not to be loaded with sorrow and pains. You can’t be loaded with sin and expect a better tomorrow. That will only happen if you repent and you are converted to become a child of God. If you continue in wickedness and all forms of ungodliness, you are simply asking for trouble tomorrow and in life everlasting.
Start doing good. It all begins with the spirit of the Lord possessing you. Until you yield your heart to obey the word of the Lord you cannot live the good life expected of every child of God. The world is passing away with great speed. Don’t you think it’s time you dropped your former character and take up the life of Christ? What shall be your gain if after this sinful world you are found lamenting in the lake of fire that burns with brimstone.
Prayer: Lord, step into my case and deliver me from eternal damnation
