BEWARE OF STRANGE GODS

“Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments:”
Genesis 35:2.
Main Text:

A story was told of a hunter so many years ago. He was coming back home after fruitless night and suddenly saw an unusual egg. He picked it and when he got home, he added it to his hen that was roosting on its eggs. Later, it hatched and the chicks were all growing together. There was a chick with a difference, it grew faster and bigger than the rest but they all walked on the ground. Alas, it was an eaglet. It has the potential to fly far above the sea level but it could not simply because of where it finds itself. It carries the features of an eagle but was always hanging with hens, so it could not deploy its potentials.  Beloved, you will never become better by hanging with strange gods. You need to know you are with a difference.

Remember the Lord is a jealous God. He will never accommodate you with strange elements you carry all about the place. You cannot enter His gate with this level of disrespect and filthiness. You must be washed and made clean from all forms of ungodly actions and styles which have polluted your heart and mind from serving the true and living God. “For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:Exodus 34:14.

You therefore need to make adjustments to this life of yours. Are you making God jealous over your life? Are you devoting your time and life to Him or you are totally lost in an affair with these strange gods? Are you like the eaglet that was still moving around with the hens? You must awake and find your level in Christ, God is the only living and supreme Being.

Prayer: O Lord, I reject the activity of strange gods in my entire destiny
