WALKING THE RIGHT WAY
“Your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it….â€
Isaiah 30: 21
Main Text:
The scripture doesn’t say God’s Word gives light; rather, it says, “the entrance” of God’s Word gives light. So it’s not enough to have the Word in the pages of the Bible; it has to gain entrance into your spirit. This will light up your walking path in life so that darkness will not have rulership over you!
The Lord Almighty is sovereign over our lives. He uses the circumstances in our life to get our attention and confirm what He desires to do in us. These occurrences in our life can also represent a principle that He wants us to understand. It reveals who you really are, what you can do, and your inheritance in Christ. When you allow the Word illuminate your spirit, negative circumstances around you are dispelled, then God’s glory and abundant provisions become real to you.
Let God’s Word be the light by which you see all things. Let it guide you in all your affairs—in your academics, finances, relationships, and every other area of your life. Refuse to walk in the dark, or live by the lesser light; rather, receive illumination by the Word!
In the text above, the “Word” being referred to is the voice of the WORD Himself. Beloved, When Job had problems, a wise young man told him of his mistake. This, “for God may speak in one way or in another, yet a man does not perceive it” Job 33: 14. This young man was trying to tell Job that God must have SPOKEN to him one way or the other about the danger that was to befall him, but he was insensitive. Even though, God knew about the woes to befall Job.
Today, tell God to open the ears of your spirit that you may hear Him speak and walk in the right path to avoid the deadly trap of the enemy.
Prayer: Open the ears of my spirit, dear Father that I may hear Your instructions
