PROSPERITY – GOD’S PLAN FOR YOU!
“Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”
Psalms 35:27
Main Text: Main Text: 3rd John:2
Many people find solace in the desert, yet Christ Jesus's sacrifice was for us to experience the splendor of Eden—the ultimate paradise. Heaven abounds with blessings, and as recipients of divine redemption, it is our destiny to thrive. Why? Because our Lord desires our prosperity in every aspect of life—financially, spiritually, and materially. Eden signifies a realm of perfection and abundance. Reflect on this: at the genesis of creation, why did God choose to place humanity in Eden rather than amidst torment, poverty, sickness, hell, or the abyss? Because He delights in your prosperity!
Christ Jesus redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, as it is written, "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree." This was so that through Jesus Christ, we might receive the blessings promised to Abraham and the fulfillment of the Spirit's promises through faith (Galatians 3:13-14). The Bible explicitly expresses in 3 John 2: "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers." Poverty casts a shadow over life, whereas prosperity illuminates it. As Psalm 35:27 declares, "Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause; and let them say continually, 'Let the Lord be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.'" In Jeremiah 31:13-14, the promise of joy is vividly portrayed: "Then young women will dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow. I will satisfy the priests with abundance, and my people will be filled with my bounty," declares the Lord.
God takes pleasure in seeing His children prosper. Jesus's mission was multifaceted: to bestow righteousness upon you, liberating you from sin, hell, and the grave. Above all, Jesus came to grant you abundant life (John 10:10). One of the pivotal purposes of His coming was to unveil a realm of wealth and abundance to you.
Confession:
I declare Abraham’s BLESSING belongs to me. Abundance and prosperity are God’s will for my life, God’s favor and BLESSING are active and operating in every area of my life. Everything I do prospers and succeeds. The wisdom of God helps me to make sound financial decisions. I am blessed and highly favored among men.
