THE BELIEVERS AUTHORITY 1

You have an enemy. While he might not be visible through natural eyes, Satan is very real. He is not an imaginary, mythical character, but a spirit being whose mission is to “steal, kill, and destroy” (John 10:10). The devil is at the root of everything evil, and he works in an attempt to cause destruction to believers, however, through Jesus’ death on the Cross, believers have been given authority over Satan. They just need to believe that they have that authority and then exercise it in every area of their lives, including the area of finances & health.

Col 2:15 “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.” Jesus spoiled principalities and powers! He reduced them to nothing. In other words, He took away their ability to dominate us. Therefore, principalities and powers can’t dominate us in any area, including the financial area. Since these principalities and powers are dethroned, why then are they still ruling in the world? Because the world doesn’t know that they’re dethroned. They don’t know about it, and therefore, they can’t act upon it! 1 John 4:4 “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.”One of the benefits of being a believer is that Jesus Christ shares His authority with you. Jesus has all authority in heaven and earth, and now, it’s available to you! Our authority in Christ is all-encompassing, and unlimited, and has nothing to do with our personal acts of righteousness. Rather, it’s the result of the obedience of Christ, and our placement in Him.

Confession: Thank You Father for the authority you have placed in me, I am as bold as the Lion; All of creation responds to me, because I sit in Jesus’ seat; the whole world is mine. I live triumphantly today and always, manifesting the power and dominion of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
