GOD CHOSE YOU
“You didn't choose me, but I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain; that whatever you will ask of the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”
John 15:16 (WEB)
Main Text: 1 Peter 2:9-15
Most believers worry if they are called by God. Overthinking this will result in inefficiency and ineffectiveness in the things of God because they are busy searching for a calling rather than pleasing God. The most important thing is you have been chosen by God! Matt 22:14 “For many are called, but few chosen." Being chosen is higher than being called, you are among the chosen few. When Jesus spoken about many being called, he was referring to salvation, which has been offered to the whole world, however, we have the choice to accept that call. The day you chose to accept the call, you became the chosen one – sanctified and separated from the world unto God. Now you are born again, you’ve been chosen out of the evil and decay that exist in this world to a life of unending glory. Don’t ever think you aren’t good enough or qualified enough to be chosen by God. He chooses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise (1 Cor. 1:27). Don’t allow sin and guilt consciousness rob you of your special place in God. You have been raised to sit in high places (Eph 2:6). He’s chosen you to reveal His glory through you.
Confession: I am chosen by the Lord, I am God’s own special purchased person, born again full of the Holy Ghost, I am what God says I am, I am a success, I am a blessing, I am chosen!!! Hallelujah.
