AFTER THE DREAMS

He who gathers in summer is a wise son; He who sleeps in harvest is a son who causes shame.
Proverbs 10: 5
Main Text:

Jacob woke up. After having a dream, what that informs us is that we should learn to come out of our dreams be it good or bad and take action. I believe that it is time for those of us who are sleeping to wake up. Time has come for us to be serious and to realize that we are not getting any younger. It is time we realized that any day that is passed cannot be recalled. No matter how great your anointing is, you cannot bring back last year, even the last minute.

It is time we woke up and asked why we are here on earth. Do not die without achieving your potentials. If you have been living in sin, it is time to wake up and repent. It may be too late to repent. Death can come at anytime. Only God knows the day of our departure.

Our memory verse, Prov. 10:5 tells of the difference between the gatherer of harvest and the sleeper. This is the time of harvest.  If you are sleeping at this time, it means you are a son who will bring shame. Today, all over the world, people are in need of salvation. It is time to wake up and be responsible for a soul.

“Surely, the Lord is in this place …” Jacob was saying the obvious. God is Omnipresent. Everywhere you go, God is there with you.

Beloved, I Cor. 15:34 says, “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame”. Awake now! Do you have the knowledge of God yet? What do you dream about? Get concerned in the Master’s business. The truth now is that God’s work demand urgency and it is a must for you to involve in winning souls to Christ.

Prayer: Lord, may I not awake to damnation in Jesus’ name.
