EFFECTIVELY PRAYING 1
“Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued)
James 5:16 (AMPC)
Main Text:
The major cause for failure in Christian enterprises is a lack of prayer. Whether the goal is to preach to one man or preach to nations or to run a great corporation, your success or failure in life is based entirely on your prayer life. I read this analogy once, “one percent of your time spent in prayer will produce only one percent results. Eighty percent prayer will bring eighty percent results.” This formula works every time. The obvious question is; how can I give a hundred percent effort in prayer? I can’t spend all my time in prayer. Apostle Paul said “Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) therefore, you can spend that much effort in prayer. Prayer is an attitude. It’s more than making requests. It’s communicating with God. You can live in an attitude of prayer every moment, being in constant communion and fellowship with your heavenly Father. In order to get results in prayer, you must be convinced that God wants to answer your prayers. In all honesty, God is as ready and willing to answer your prayers as quick as He was in answering the petition of Jesus whilst on the earth.
Confession: I declare, I am blessed, I am favored, I am moving forward, all round advancement! I become a thousand more time than my Fathers, I am blessed, and I am fruitful. Glory to God.
Prayer: I will not be frustrated out of prayer in the name of Jesus
