APPLY HIS WORD

Beloved, I want to remind you of the truth from the Word of God that, it is not the hearer of the word that is blessed rather the active doer of the word. Doing the word comes with correct application of the written and spoken word to address all issues of your life and destiny. The effect of God’s word cannot be overemphasized and this only relates to those who care to read, study, meditate and apply it.

Jesus is the word of God. That’s why He’s relevant to all areas of our lives. The Bible says; “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1).

Like I once told you, reading the leaflet of a drug will never cure your ailment. If you like, cram the whole leaflet with the composition of the drugs, you will still remain the same if you fail to take the drug as prescribed by your physician in the right quantity and at the right times. So is Jesus – the word of God! You don’t get better in life, outside Jesus in you.

You are the one limiting the effectual workings of the word! You must apply Him to all affected areas of your life. If your eyes are sick, your entire body will suffer the pain! So is your walk of faith. If you limit God to financial prosperity you will suffer pains in other areas of your life. Have you started taking in His word? “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.” Jeremiah 15:16

The word of the Lord, if correctly located is the solution to all the questions in your heart. “The law of the LORD is perfect....” Psalm 19:7-8.

Prayer: May I live by the Word in all I do in Jesus’ name.
