WHAT CONTROLS YOUR TONGUE? 2

“Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.”
Colossians 4:6
Main Text:

Do you crave perfection in year 2020? Start with the right words now. You ask me how? Begin to declare the word of God over your situation. You can only be a blessing in your speech if you are controlled by the Holy Spirit. Just like I said yesterday, you can’t be controlled by the Holy Spirit if you have little or no time for the Word of God. If you feed your spirit man with junk, you will speak junk and will surely be empty in the place of prayers! The Word of God is your most trusted guarantee in speaking correctly. You can only live a correct life if you have loaded your inner man with the Holy Bible. Don’t be deceived, if you are of the world you will speak worldly language. If God lives in you, it will show in your speech. Examine your life. Consider your speech.

“Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” Ephesians 4:29.

When are you going to start saying the right words over your situation? Let it be now. You can’t continue to be a child of God when your tongue is daily engaged with foul words and immoral talks. Refrain from abuses and curses. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you. Feed your soul and spirit with the word of God. Be serous for the gospel. If you can’t say categorically where you stand, check your friends and associations, check what you spend your time doing/watching. They go a long way in determining the kind of words that come out of your mouth. Choose wisdom when you choose the right company and be a blessing through the words of your mouth to the people around you. It shall be well with you now and in the years to come.

Prayer: My tongue will not fail me
